Team 'Ohana
'Ohana means family. Family means no one is left behind,or forgotten

Please support us. Together we can make a difference!

How far would you go to help find a cure for Breast Cancer? We are walking 60 miles in 3 days with 3000 other walkers to raise money for Breast Cancer research. We are going all the way to California to make this effort. Won't you support us?

I want to support the team!

We are four sisters and this is our mother, Charlotte. She is one of the most vibrant and alive people that we know. In 1999 she was diagnosed with breast cancer. It shook us to think of losing her and made us realize her mortality for the first time.

Because her cancer was detected early, she was treated and today is still as strong and full of energy as ever. Her story speaks volumes about the importance of early detection.

We won't stand by and let this disease end her life early, and we won't let it endanger each other or our children.

-1,000,000 women in America are living with undetected breast cancer.

-1 out of 9 women in America will develop breast cancer in her lifetime. That's up from 1 out of 14 in 1960.

- In America this year, a new case of breast cancer will be diagnosed every 3 minutes. Every 13 minutes, the disease will claim another life.

We are not reasearch scientists, qualified to find a cure. We are not physicians, able to treat those stricken. But we can help by raising money so that a cure can be found and so that medically underserved women can benefit from early detection.

On October 18-20 we will be walking from Santa Barbara to Malibu Beach, California to raise money for the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade. We are charged with raising $1900 each to support this cause. We are training every day but can't make the first step with out your support.

Won't you help us to fight this disease? Please donate so that someone you love isn't a victim.

We hope that you will also write a note in the guestbook letting us know that you visited our page. Thanks for taking the time to stop here and read about our adventure.

I am only one, but still I am one; I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; And just because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do the something that I can do.
